Prior to beginning any construction project (i.e. fences, garages, accessory buildings, room additions, play equipment, etc.), that project must be submitted for Architectural approval. To approve any request, at least three (3) members of the Board of Directors must review the request and “sign-off” that the request submitted meets the requirements of the restrictive covenants.  Response from the Architectural Committee is required prior to beginning your project. If you do not receive a response within one week after submission, please send a follow-up email to the email address listed below.

The Board will review request for approvals as follows:

1) The home owner has two options to submit a request:

• Email the request to the following address:  architecturalreviews@olemillstream.com

or...

• Mail two (2) copies of the request to:

2) The request should include enough detail so that the Board can determine whether the request meets the requirements of the covenants, such as:

• Drawings, including placement on your lot
• Photos (if available)
• Shingle type
• Siding type
• Paint color
• Fence type, height, style, etc.

3) Please include your name, address, phone number and lot number (if known) on your request.

4) The Board will review and respond to the home owner within thirty (30) days of receipt of the request. The response will include a copy of the signed approval or a request for more information if needed.

5) Please note that the PO Box is checked weekly.
